Apartment living is a lifestyle choice, and if you're purchasing the apartment for yourself or buying an apartment as an investment, then there are quite a few important things that you will need to check before splashing out and purchasing one.
1 – Flat Location
Regardless of building design, the place has become the most significant element when it comes to purchasing any property, whether you're purchasing a home or the highline apartments. The prime attributes of the place are that the land is close to transportation, so search for train lines which are near or run express trains into the CBD.
2 – Common or common partitions
The fewer shared or common partitions, the greater. This also applies to ceilings and floors, and that's why being on the top floor is a precious place since there's nobody living over you, therefore no noisy footsteps at the middle of the evening!
3 – Flat Ranking
The top floor can be considered the prized area of a flat block, but keep in mind that access to your flat is vital. If you're on the top floor and there are no lifts, then residing on the 4th floor may not be quite as attractive in case you have to scale the stairs daily!
4 – The quality of the construction
You'll have to do a proper check of the construction, but until you do, a few preliminary tests will help determine if this is the apartment for you. Is the flat nicely constructed and assembled by an excellent builder or developer.
